This evening, I made my way down to Dupont Circle from Silver Spring. There was some mysterious traffic jam on 16th Street, so I was a little late getting to the studio and made it to my borrowed mat (because I left mine in the car) just as class began.
Today's class was a challenge--although I was looking forward to it, I found myself getting really bored. I remember hitting this point during the last challenge, too. There was an exciting accomplishment, though--I managed to get my feet on the floor behind me in plow pose. I've felt my body wanting to go there but always been a little freaked out I'd break my neck. I didn't stay there very long because I was kicking someone's towel.
Kathmandu without monsoons is great!
